The robust planks made of local oak wood are mounted on the reduced pillars, just like a filigree bridge.
Maximum simplicity was the aim of the design. The result: a distinctive bench. Timeless!

Ash wood:

The ash wood planks are 4 cm thick. We do not use tropical wood or plantation wood. The wood comes from local forests. It has been treated twice with organic oil. If the wood is not oiled further, it will turn grey over time. The older the bench, the more beautiful the patina.

The "common ash" was Tree of the Year 2001 and is one of the noble hardwoods. It is a robust, long-fibred wood with a light, lively grain.

The Base Frame

Choose between weatherproof and powder-coated steel. All structural components are very robust and made from 8 mm thick steel.

Weatherproof Steel

The pillars are made of thick weatherproof steel. With age they will corrode and give the bench a unique character and personality. This design is very sustainable and requires no maintenance. Traces of rust may appear at the installation site.
Powder-coated Steel
Optionally, the pillars are also available in a powder-coated version. For optimum corrosion protection, the robust pillars are galvanised beforehand. The colour is DB 703 (anthracite grey metallic).
